Medical Services & Costs/Medic-Alert Bracelet

Medical Services and Costs:

Our modern Health Center (Mirpa’ah) is staffed 24 hours/day by licensed Nurses (RNs). A local physician is also available to see campers as needed. Most routine medical treatments are provided at camp without charge. Some illnesses and injuries are referred to a nearby hospital or the local physician. To facilitate payment for these services, campers are required to provide insurance information. A copy of both sides of your current insurance card must be on file in the Health Center.

Medic-Alert Bracelet

Children who react to specific antibiotics or medications, or who have specific medical ailments, should wear a Medic-Alert bracelet, which can be obtained through the Medic-Alert Foundation in your city.
