Food At Camp
Food Policy & Camp Food
Food Policy At Camp:
All food coming into camp must be kosher. In order to qualify as being kosher, there must be a kosher symbol on the package. The following are examples of such symbols:
Absolutely no outside food is to be brought into the chadar ochel (dining hall) at any time.
What Is The Food Like At Camp?
As part of Camp Tel Yehudah’s commitment to the Jewish value of Briyut (health and wellness), we provide three healthy, balanced and kosher meals a day to all campers and staff. Every meal includes a fresh salad bar, vegetarian, gluten free, nut free and lactose free options. Camp Tel Yehudah’s kitchen is under Orthodox rabbinical supervision. Fruit is also available throughout the day for snacks. Additionally, while Tel Yehudah is not a nut-free camp, we are happy to make the needed accommodations for all dietary restrictions teens may have on a case-by-case basis.
